The author of the Hawkwind the Bard series of novels, Granvil A. Pennington, a NASA Flight Director for over 30 Shuttle Missions, has been a major participant in the nations Space Program as a ground flight controller since the Apollo Program. To work on the forefront of space, a person must have imagination and intense desire to help lead us beyond Earth and this imagination finds many outlets. A role player himself for twenty odd years, playing online games and intense reading of the great works of SCI-Fi/Fantasy give him a sound basis for writing in this area of Fiction. Mr. Pennington is the author of a new series of novels dealing with adventure in a swords and magic setting called Hawkwind the Bard series. These novels are written for those who are or have been Role-Players and for those that love adventure.
