My
major interest is beginning to be fully realized, that of a novelist -
and publishing all the novels! As of this date, I have written Five
novels
which I began writing in 1991 in the Fantasy/SF area. I have currently
finished writing on Book 4, and 5. Book 6 has begun ending the first
series
- and there is no end in sight since new ideas abound daily!
*smiles*All
deal with a group of seven characters, one of which is Hawkwind, the
Bard.
This character came about during my twenty plus years of role game
playing
AD&D, Online Games and from a GenCon in Wisconsin in the late 70's
were I did very well with a Bard Character. Those of you familiar with
Dungeons and Dragons and other TSR novels and games can easily relate
to
the material although the world of my novels and its magic are
different.
Each of the novels follows this group of fighters, mages, thieves and
clerics
as they go about what they do best - Adventure! Best of all, these
novels
are pure entertainment where Good always triumphs over Evil.
Those individuals i have contacted that have read my first novels like them a lot. However! Now with the electronic media marvel of the Internet, new avenues have opened for the whole series at iUniverse.com Publishing Services .
Not being a great artist, I still tried to get across how I see my bard, Hawkwind . A 3D software program from Curious Labs called Poser 5 really helps. My own (heavily edited) face and a lot of accessories allowed Poser and JASC PSP to assemble my graphics. This is how I saw myself as I played the game, as a half-elf with hawk sword, lute, chain armor and all! Check out the galley page for some of those graphics.

Book 1 Synopsis:
The Companions meet and take on the daunting task of recovering a cache
of rubies from a town overrun by a band of humanoid brigands.
Interspersed
with humor, intrigue and a fleetingly light love story, the story is
mainly
high adventure as the companions stumble across ancient ruins steeped
in
magic in their quest. Along the way you learn how magic works in this
realm
and role players will be especially interested in the descriptions of
how
the companions solve their problems.
Book 2 Synopsis:
The Companions continue their adventure and run afoul of a powerful
wizard in the City State of Anvil. Harried in their flight away from
this
dilemma by magic and the wizard's evil minions, they return to the
small
town of Haslet seeking refuge - and an answer to the mystery of the
magic
of the ancient people whose ruins lie nearby. As with all the Hawkwind
the Bard Novels there are hidden clues to the major plot of the
series.
Many threads run through the action and each holds a clue for the
reader
to discover.
Book 3 (An Epic)
Part 1 Synopsis:
The Companions emerge from a winter's time of rest and training to
find the land all around them embroiled in conflict. They first journey
into the land of the gnomes hoping to bring them aid and discover the
first
of five countries battling humanoids. Leaving the gnome's hills they
ride
into more trouble only this time, another ancient site is revealed and
giants attack. The powerful arch wizard of the elves comes on the scene
and Hawkwind and Iliryle fly into more trouble. More hints emerge about
how massive the troubles in the Klon valley really are and part 1 ends
having only solved a portion of the puzzle.
Part 2 Synopsis:
The companions travel on and meet a new a new character. They
continue their caravan travels and begin a series of interesting
battles leading to an unfortunate occurence where one of the companions
is assailed by their arch enemy Liftolin. Then the group learns of more
trouble in the Klon valley and head on toward "War". The end of
the epic adventure - Champions of Verlaine.
Book 4
Hawkwind and the Companions visit Rhapsody and seek out their next
quest. In Rhapsody a Bard Enclave is called and they are shocked to
draw one of the Golden Dragon Princes to the gathering. What did he
tell them? Then, Sea borne travel is in store for them and magic on the
high seas. More ancient places of the Before People are investigated
along with saving a few towns and caravans along the way. Then in the
final chapter they meet with....well you best read the novel to find
out.
We are the Do-ers, the Problem Solvers, and
